Session Overview
Internal coaching refers to the practice of coaches and coachees working within the same organization.
This program, developed around ICF’s core competencies of coaching, is designed to equip participants with the requisite coaching skills, and practical coaching tools for use within an organizational setting – with the purpose of supporting an organization’s strategy. It provides executives, managers, supervisors and team leaders, with an in-demand, relevant qualification, to add to their repertoire.
For life coaches, this program provides the added technical understanding of coaching in a corporate environment. The program provides a useful tool-kit – coaching forms, templates, examples, model grid, and a course workbook.
Course Objectives
- Equip participants to prepare for, and deliver a successful coaching initiative within the organization
- Demonstrate ICF’s core competencies of coaching, and enable participants to practice their application in a coaching conversation
- Enable participants to apply coaching practices in a variety of contexts within the working environment
- Enable participants to practice two coaching models
- Develop effective feedback, active listening, and effective questioning skills of participants, as part of the coaching competency development process
Participants will be able to:
- Prepare for, and conduct an effective ‘developmental’ coaching conversation in the work-place setting
- Use coaching techniques developed around ICF’s core competencies to facilitate the performance and productivity of others
- Use the CO-CREATORS coaching model and GROW coaching model for formal and impromptu coaching situations effectively
- Learn to apply coaching skills and tools for performance management, and other challenging workplace situations
- Promote a culture of coaching within their organization
- Enhance their own professional credibility and overall effectiveness as a manager or leader
- Add coaching to their professional repertoire of skills

Online programs are scheduled to be delivered on six consecutive days, from 6:30pm to 10:30pm IST or on weekends. The observed one-on-one coaching session (1 hour duration) may be scheduled on any date/time of the week immediately after completion of training. Please register your interest to know the dates for the next upcoming online program. This program can also be scheduled on-demand, for organizations.
In order to receive a certificate of completion, participants must attend the full duration of the course, attain a pass score of 70 percent or above in a post course test, and successfully complete a one-on-one observed coaching session (duration 1 hour).
The cost of the Online program is INR 14,999/- plus 18% GST per participant, delivered via Zoom or GoToTraining.

Upon registering for the program, you will receive an e-mail
from us, acknowledging your registration, along with an invoice. Payment of
fees may be made via wire transfer or online, via net banking. Once we receive
payment, we shall send you the course materials for you to download and print,
along with some pre-course work, and joining instructions.
More than 7 business days prior to start of the first scheduled session:
Please send your cancellation request in writing to registrations@thecoachists.com. Your refund will be made in full within 2 weeks of receiving the written request. Alternately, we will be happy to issue you a credit note for a future cohort, without any cancellation fee.
Less than 7 business days prior to start of the first scheduled session:
Please send your cancellation request in writing to registrations@thecoachists.com. No refund will be issued. We will be happy to issue you a credit note for a future cohort, with an INR 1000 plus 18% GST cancellation fee.
After commencement of the first scheduled session:
No refund or adjustment will be issued.
Note:
The Coachists reserves the right to cancel/re-schedule any group scheduled start date due to insufficient enrollment (unlikely), or due to any other unforeseen circumstance, at least 7 calendar days in advance of the scheduled start date. Notice will be provided with alternative mentoring options, including the option to receive a full refund of registration fees.
On-site programs have a maximum class size of 12 participants.
Online programs have a maximum class size of 8 participants.

Besides the tuition fees for the full program, the cost includes 1) Tele-class recordings to save for review later 2)A comprehensive e-workbook containing tip-sheets, templates, case-studies, sample coaching contracts and agreements and other useful resources, 3) at least one observed coaching session with the facilitator, and 4) a certificate of completion.
On-site programs are usually scheduled to be delivered on three consecutive days, from 8:30am to 6pm IST. The observed one-on-one coaching session ( 1 hour duration) is scheduled in-person or online on any date/time of the week, as mutually convenient, within a week after training delivery.
The On-site program is delivered in an up-class hotel, and includes coffee breaks and a buffet lunch, on all training days. Please contact us for location, schedule, and fee structure of our next on-site public course.
