Questions? We've got you covered!

The International Coaching Federation (ICF) defines Mentor Coaching as providing professional assistance in achieving and demonstrating the levels of coaching competency demanded by the desired credential level sought by a coach‐ applicant (mentee). Furthermore, Mentor Coaching means an applicant (mentee) being coached on their coaching skills rather than coaching on practice building, life balance, or other topics unrelated to the development of an applicant’s coaching skill.

Yes! Mentor coaching is mandatory to apply, or renew any ICF Credential.

A mentor coach must hold an ICF credential at, or above the credential level the mentee is seeking. So a mentor coach must hold an ACC, PCC, or MCC credential if mentoring an ACC aspirant, a PCC or MCC credential if mentoring a PCC aspirant, and an MCC credential if mentoring an MCC aspirant. Further, Associate Certified Coaches must complete at least one full cycle of their credential (with renewal) before they’re eligible to serve as a Mentor Coach for ACC credentialing or credential renewal.

If you are in coach training, you may take mentor coaching upon completion of your training, prior to submitting your application. If you are already credentialed, and are renewing your credential, you may take mentor coaching any time during the three years since the initial award of the credential or since the last credential renewal, and must take place over the course of at least three months.

Yes! Mentor coaching hours (10 hours) can be used to meet the Continuing Coach Education (CCE) requirements for ICF credential renewal.

All our mentor coachists™ hold a valid ICF credential. We commit to adhering to the mentor coaching duties and responsibilities as outlined by the ICF. We offer 4 hours of one – on – one mentor coaching, plus 6 hours of group mentor coaching as a package. This means more personalized attention, specific support, increased levels of engagement, and deeper learning opportunities for you.
